We wanted to create a patriotic tee that wasn't about being boisterous or arrogant, but about inclusion and acceptance. We used a line from one of the first patriotic songs we learned as a kid . . . "This land was made for you and me." The land of the USA started out as and still can be a place of hope, refuge and freedom. But we don't have a perfect history, and that's important to recognize. We violently took this land from indigenous people for gain. We then violently took people from their homeland and made them work this land for gain. No, as Americans we aren't perfect. But we can always try again to be better.

This graphic has a cute, hand drawn US flag that looks like it is billowing in the wind. Black cursive writing surrounds the flag. Printed on the softest white tee. Unisex sizing.
